Looking at our culture, we can see that society is becoming more disconnected. Even though we have technology that connects more people than ever before, there’s still distance. Lack of intimacy is one of the top three reasons why relationships struggle, and often times end. Bringing Intimacy Back, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, is dedicated to inspire, enlighten, and encourage intimate connections. Host Dr. April Brown and co-host Kanya Ford provide an engaging atmosphere to discuss ways to enhance intimacy in one’s relationships; including with oneself, partners, families, friends, and Spirit. Research shows that as we increase the quality of our intimate connections, a decrease of conflicts, anxiety, and depression follows. Take the first steps to strengthen your intimate connections with Bringing Intimacy Back. Bringing Intimacy Back airs LIVE every Thursday at 3:30pm EST. Viewer comments and questions are shared during the exciting discussion!

Friday May 22, 2020
Friday May 22, 2020
Dr. Kiley Hanish is dedicated to helping people through transformational growth and healing after loss. After suffering the stillbirth and loss of her first child Norbert, Kiley co-created the Emmy-nominated film Return to Zero to break the silence and stigma around pregnancy and infant loss for parents around the world. The film's success and critical acclaim led to her non-profit organization Return to Zero: HOPE, where she advocates for and guides bereaved families in reclaiming their purpose, meaning, and healing after their tragic loss. Kiley currently works with private clients to empower them to grow and heal through life's challenges. Kiley and her husband Sean are creators of the Emmy-nominated film Return to Zero, starring Minnie Driver and Paul Adelstein. Based on their personal experience of their son Norbert, who was stillborn, this feature film is the first to tackle the taboo subject of stillbirth. Through Return to Zero, Kiley has found much healing. Her willingness to share her story and most vulnerable life moments connected her to a community of families who have also endured the unimaginable death of a baby. Feeling less isolated in her grief, this experience inspired her to create Return to Zero: H.O.P.E. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/drapril/support Learn more about your ad choices.
